Every so often we are offered birds that are a little bit different. Because these birds are usually rarer than the rest, they can be more expensive. These are likely to be in short supply, so don't hesitate to get in contact!
Let us know if there is a rare breed that you are interested in, we might be able to find it for you.
Bantams
Bantams are essentially mini-chickens. Just like their bigger cousins, there are many different breeds. If you are looking for a specific breed of bantam, let us know.
We rarely keep many bantams, but specific breeds might be bought-in if required.
Japanese Quail
- Tiny, very shy birds. (Enjoy hiding in vegitation)
- If being kept domestically, a roofed enclosure is required.
- Regularly produce tiny eggs.
Day old: £3 each.
Point-of-lay: £8 each.
Turkeys
- Very easy to rear. Active when young, but fatten with age.
- Highly social, becoming distressed when isolated.
Only available August-September!
Order in advance to ensure availability.
Day old: £8 each.
Poults: £20 each.
